By default, all PACLOCK® padlocks come standard with 6-pin cylinder technology. 6 Pins means 8,000+ key combinations and better security.
The most popular Master Locks® only have 4-pins, leaving them relatively easy to pick and making duplicate key combinations a problem. Our standard 6-pin cylinder even far exceeds the U.S. military requirement of a 5-pin cylinder.
PACLOCK® padlocks are impossible to shim. Our dual, stainless steel ball bearing design and solid brass actuators make the common Master Lock® defeat via shimming impossible on a PACLOCK®.
PACLOCK® padlocks are bypass resistant. While our standard rekeyable padlocks look similar in shape and function to Master Lock’s® American Lock® brand, the driver on the end of our cylinders makes the American Lock® bypass attack nearly impossible.
As a standard feature, PACLOCK® cylinders come full of anti-pick and bump resistant security pins and spring technology making it harder for potential thieves to pick. Our cylinders lead the industry in high-security.
