UCS™ cylinders come standard with pick and bump-resistant 6-pin cylinder technology that allows for 20,000+ key codes. Competitor padlocks in this class typically have 4-pin cylinders that limit unique key numbers to around 500. Padlocks with only 4-pin cylinders should be seen as a security risk.
